This suggests that his daughter Mary Ann and grandson George Faithful predeceased him as neither can be found after 1871 census.<hr>

Yet to be confirmed but Mary may have had marriages to a George Faithfull and Charles Bishop. This is based on the fact that she seems to have been an only child and there are grandchildren with her mother on 1871 (Faithfull) and 1881 (Faithfull and Bishop).
