Extract Inventory of the Personal Estate of GEORGE SILVER (Deceased)<br>
At Aberdeen - the twelfth day of June in the year One Thousand Eight Hundred and Eighty Six. In presence of John Guthrie Smith Esquire, Advocate, Sheriff of Aberdeen, Kincardine and Banff. Compeared James Paull, Advocate in Aberdeen and gave in the Inventory of the Personal Estate of the after-designed now deceased George Silver and oath thereon under written and craved that the same might be insert and registered in the Sheriff Court Books of Aberdeen, Kincardine and Banff, at Aberdeen, in terms of the Act of Parliament passed in the forty eighth year of the reign of His Majesty George the Third, chapter one hundred and forty nine, entituled "An Act for repealing the Stamp Duties on Deeds, Law Proceedings, and other written or printed Instruments and the Duties on Legacies, and Succession to Personal Estate upon Intestacies now payable in Great Britain; and for granting new duties in lieu thereof" and subsequent Acts; which request Sheriff foresaid found reasonable and ordained the same to be done accordingly and of which Inventory (the principal being written on paper and stamped according to law) the tenor follows namely:-<br>
Inventory of the Personal Estate, wheresoever situated of George Silver, Papermill Worker, who residing at Bucklerburn in the Parish of Peterculter, and County of Aberdeen, who died at Bucklerburn on the 30th day of March 1886<br>
1. Cash in the house £0 / 5s / 0d<br>
2. Household Furniture and other Effects in the deceased's house £18 / 17s / 0d<br>
3. Stock in Trade and other Effects belonging to deceased 0<br>
4. Sum in Bank viz - On Deposit Receipt with the Town and County<br>

Appeared Hellen Gordon or Silver, residing at Bucklerburn, in the Parish of Peterculter and County of Aberdeen - who being solemnly sworn and examined, Deponses : <br>That the said George Silver died at Bucklerburn upon the Thirtieth day of March One Thousand Eight Hundred and Eighty Six and had at the time of his death his ordinary or principal domicile in the County of Aberdeen;<br> That the Deponent is the Widow of the said deceased George Silver and is desirous to enter upon the possession and management of the deceased's estate as his executrise. <br> That the Deponent does not know of any testamentary settlement or writing relative to the disposal of the deceased's Personal Estate or Effects, or any part thereof: <br>That the foregoing Inventory signed by the Deponent and the said Sheriff Clerk Depute as relative hereto is a full and complete Inventory of the Personal Estate and Effects of the said deceased George Silver wheresoever situated, and belonging to him beneficially at the time of his death, in so far as the same has come to the Deponent's knowledge: <br> That the said deceased had no heritable estate in this country. That the value at this date of the said Personal Estate and Effects, including the proceeds secured thereon down to this date, does not exceed Three Hundred Pounds Sterling: <br>That confirmation of the said Personal Estate in Scotland in favour of the Deponent. All which is truth, as the Deponent shall answer to God.<br>
