      In the Kincardineshire Monumental Inscriptions the Gordon family stone that stands in the Fetteresso Old Graveyard has a James Gordon, once tenant in Whitestone, died Auchlee December 25 1868 which meant he would have been 82 if this is the James Gordon son of Alexander Gordon and Jean Lyons. Not impossible but will need to check census.
