Mary was born in Wigtown, Scotland in 1820 - she died in Footscray in 1886 - Mary had migrated with her widowed mother, Isabella [nee Adams] d.1863, and sister Helen Mary - who later married Thomas Ingram in 1854 when she was 17yo.
